1953 Fender Telecaster Natural - Refin

This Fender Telecaster was made in the USA in 1953. Although it is in some ways in 'barn found' condition, it plays great and sounds incredible. The guitar was poorly refinished decades ago. On the other hand, most of the parts are original. The pickups are original, although we had to rewind the bridge pickup. The pots, jack, and switch are original, although the tone caps are not. The pickguard is the original black guard that was painted white which is wearing off. The tuners and other hardware are also original. Aside from the tone caps, the only other changed parts are many of the screws, the nut, and the decal. The guitar weighs 7 pounds and 1 ounce. We considered having it professionally refinished but it has such a cool vibe we decided to leave it alone. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store, plays great, and comes with a non original hard case.
