~1920 GIBSON A-4 Brown-Red Burst SR-11-15
Description
This Old A-4 has been played! It has a Pick up that sounds good--and appears to be glued to the underside of the top by the Bridge, replaced tuners and Tail Piece (with a 1/4" Jack), a Tone Guard back cage and an Arm rest.
It looks to me to have been refinished or at least sprayed over. There are 2 lines on the top that are either where the top pieces were originally laminated together or possibly repair lines, but they look symmetrical and I can see glue lines inside. Has some nicks and dents and a few scratches, but for 104 years old, not bad at all! Serial Number 56344 on the sound hole label. Comes in a modern Tweed Hard case. Sold As-is.
