1966 Epiphone EB232 Rivoli Bass "Original Pacific Blue Finish"

Description

A rare custom finish of an Epiphone EB232 Rivoli bass.
Epiphone's Rivoli bass, like other Epiphone models of the same era, was manufactured at Gibson's Kalamazoo factory and is a model similar to Gibson's EB-2.

The Rivoli Bass was a model popularized by bands during the British Invasion of the 60s. It was used by bands that scored top hits, led by John Entwistle of The Who, as well as The Animals, The Tremeloes, and The Harman's Hermits.
Jimmy Page used it when he joined The Yardbirds as their bassist.

Both Gibson and Epiphone brands, this is a very rare custom color
Pacific Blue finish on a thinline body bass, made in 1966.

While there are minor signs of wear and weathering, considering it as vintage gear,
it is in excellent plus condition overall.
