1960 Gretsch Chet Atkins (6120) – Amber Red

Description

It’s hard to get much cleaner than this 1960 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120! While this model sports Gretsch’s classic, vibrant orange hue, this color is actually dubbed “Amber Red” in their catalogs. This guitar remains in incredible condition for its age, with very little wear throughout. The binding on this instrument is still well intact, with only a small area by the treble-side neck heel showing Gretsch’s expected binding rot. This guitar has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. It’s fully original, sporting a slim, fast neck profile. For Gretsch lovers, this guitar is the total package – near mint, original case, and a ton of original paperwork and case candy. Plus, this one comes to us from a pretty notable owner. While we can’t say who, upon its sale, this guitar will come with a letter from its previous owner.
