1955 Silvertone Danelectro 1357 Standard U1 Yellow

This Silvertone model 1357 was made by Danelectro in the USA in 1955. It is very similar to the U1 model. This is the earliest variant with the classic lipstick pickup. Earlier versions had to pickup mounted beneath the pickguard. This example has the "half-bell" headstock and aluminum reinforced neck. The guitar is in very good all original condition. It has been set up in our store and plays grade and comes with a nonoriginal case.
