2003 Sadowsky NYC Standard Style Strat QMT Tigers Eye)

Description

Sadowsky NYC 2003 Standard Style Strat QMT

This is a full-size, Stratocaster-style model, built by the renowned luthier, Roger Sadowsky.

This rare NYC piece is currently subject to numerous backorders, with new orders suspended at authorised dealers.

With a premium quilted maple top finished in Tiger's Eye and natural binding, it boasts a luxurious look.

The slim C-shaped neck is equipped with Sperzel locking tuners.

It has three original Sadowsky pickups developed in collaboration with DiMarzio in an SSH configuration.

A 3-way mini-switch allows you to select Passive (UP), Mid Boost (Middle) or Mid Boost + Gain (Down). The gain can be adjusted using an internal trimmer.

Pushing or pulling the tone knob alters the capacitor in the circuit, changing the tone. This change is particularly noticeable when rolling off the tone.

Roger Sadowsky's handwritten signature can be found on the back of the headstock.

There are signs of material being removed from inside the tremolo cavity. It was not possible to determine whether this was done at the factory or modified later.

The body has some scuff marks, but is in good condition with no major scratches.

Over 80% of the frets are intact and there are no dents. The neck and truss rod are also in good condition.
