1966 Rickenbacker 375/6 – FireGlo
Description
This 1966 Rickenbacker 375/6 is all original in FireGlo! The Rick body shape, unique inlays, and cats-eye soundholes are immediately recognizable, iconic for their ties to 60s pop culture. This example is a 375/6, which identifies it as having three pickups, a vibrato, and six strings. The serial number indicates that this instrument was made in November of 1966, which would have been Rickenbacker’s highest production year. While their twelve-strings are known for their iconic jangle, these six strings still have a unique sound all their own, setting them apart – especially when you start to get into the electronics! From its switch positions/wiring, to its five knob setup, to its “Rick-o-sound” capabilities, these guitars truly stand out from competing brands. This particular instrument is in beautiful shape, with a slight bit of wear and patina, though overall maintaining a supremely clean look. Additionally, this guitar comes with its original case and remains entirely original itself.
