This is a 1963 SG Special model by Murphy Lab, a team led by Tom Murphy, a leading expert in aging techniques.
This guitar features an Ultra Light Aged finish that recreates the appearance of a vintage guitar that has been carefully stored in a case, showing only weather checking and minor damage. It is built to 1963 specifications and features a Lightning Bar bridge, which adds pitch correction to the conventional wrap-around bridge.
The neck is thin and flat, with an 'Authentic '63 Medium C-Shape' profile typical of the SG, and the guitar weighs just 3.04 kg.
