Fender Custom Shop 2022 1968 Telecaster Thinline Bigsby B5 Journeyman Relic
This is the “1968 Telecaster Thinline Journeyman Relic” equipped with a Bigsby B5.
It is produced to the original specifications from its initial release in 1968 and features a laminated maple fingerboard. The body is made from specially sourced old-stock mahogany from Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The color is an extra-aged natural finish with vintage tones. Weather checking across the entire body and chipped finish on the fingerboard are recreated through relic processing, while the neck back features a heavily relic finish with chipped paint.
The 60-style oval "C" shaped neck has a 9.5" radius fingerboard and narrow tall 6105 frets.
The guitar is equipped with hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups with “VP” signature.
The guitar shows minimal wear, with almost no fret wear. There are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
