2016 Fender Custom Shop 1967 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Faded 3 Tone Sunburst

Description

Fender Custom Shop 2016 1967 Stratocaster Heavy Relic

1967 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model with faded 3-tone sunburst finish and rosewood fingerboard.

It has a combination of transition logo & a large head, and features the unique specs of the '67 model, which uses Kluson tuners instead of F-key tuners.

The boldly stripped neck grip and body back paint, the finely applied weather checks, the body edge scratches, the tarnished metal parts and the exposed white layer on the elbow are all reproduced by the bold relic treatment, giving this guitar the outstanding look of having been played for many years.

The neck is made of flame maple and the neck grip is a slightly thicker 1966 Oval "C" shape compared to '60s guitars.

The pickups are all hand-wound and signed "BP", with a '69 (grey bobbin) on the neck, '65 (grey bobbin) centre and Fat 60s (black bobbin) on the bridge.

The frets are barely worn and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
