Fender Custom Shop 2022 1956 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic
This is a "1956 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model in Aged White Blonde finish with 1-piece maple neck.
This is a reproduction of a 1956 model with an off-center two-piece ash body finished in an ultra-thin "Flash Coat Lacquer" finish with no final buffing.
The relic finish reproduces the clear weather checks and tiny dents, and the back of the neck has been stripped for a heavy relic finish.
The neck is a slightly thicker 54 Soft V shape with a 7.25-9.5R (compound radius) fingerboard and medium vintage frets.
The pickups are hand-wound "55 strat" pickups signed "NG".
There is a red color stain on the body side, two black spots on the body end, and a buckle mark on the body back.
There are no dents on the frets, about 80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
