~1925 Sovereign Grand Concert (Stella)
Description
*By Oscar Schmidt, Maker of the Original Stellas
*High Grade Model
*Scale Length: 26 3/8"
*Redone with Curved Fretboard and Large Frets
*All Koa
A marvelous example of a high-end Oscar Schmidt, 14 3/4"" body out of all koa and 26 1/2" scale. In excellent and very playable condition, this one has pearloid purfling and fingerboard with typical OS style engravings. This is the preferred guitar of the old blues players, since they were available all over the country for not much money, and the extra long scale length worked great with the bottleneck.
