2016 Gretsch G6136T-BLK Players Edition Black Falcon Black
Description
Gretsch 2016 G6136T-BLK Players Edition Black Falcon
The “G6136T-BLK Black Falcon” model is the black version of the White Falcon, the flagship model of Gretsch guitars.
The beautifully shaped body with black finish, gold sparkle binding, and vertical logo on the head give this top-of-the-line model a luxurious and beautiful look.
The Player's Edition features a body that is 2.25" thinner, ML bracing that evolved from the 1959 trestle bracing, locking Grover Imperial tuners, locking strap pins, a string-through Bigsby and a TUSQ.
XL nut, Locking bar bridge and pinned ebony base with octave adjustment to reduce bridge movement.
The pickups include a high-sensitive Filter'Tron, a 'Squeezebox' paper-in-oil capacitor and a treble bleed circuit that does not alter the sound when the volume is adjusted. The no-load tone pot is completely bypassed when the tone is at full.
The metal parts, mainly the tremolo arm and pegs, have a dull finish and the gold plating is peeling. There are also a few scuffs on the body top and back and multiple scratches on the body sides.
The frets are slightly dented in the low position of the plain strings, but there is not much other wear and tear, and the neck and rods are in good condition.
Body Material: Maple
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard Material: Ebony
Weight: 3.68 kg
Case: Original hard case
