Here is a stunning James Tyler USA Studio Elite, finished in the highly distinctive Vice Vomit “Shmear” finish with a matching headstock and BiAba logo pattern on the back. This is a seriously high-option, custom-ordered Tyler and it shows in every detail.

This example was just completed in December 2025, and presents in essentially mint condition, with the protective plastic still on the pickups and virtually no signs of use.

This build was spec’d with an impressive list of premium options, starting with an ultra-light alder body, paired with a quartersawn maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It features the ST59 neck shape, 1-11/16” nut width, and wide/tall frets, giving it that fast, effortless Tyler feel.

Electronics and switching are where this guitar really goes next level. It includes a full HSS configuration, with a Super in the bridge and HCS-JTS5500 pickups in the neck and middle positions, all controlled through an extremely flexible switching system: 5-way selector, 3-way toggle, mid boost preamp, lead/rhythm circuit, preamp bypass, series/split/parallel options, and add neck/bridge switching. In short, this is a full tonal workstation.

Hardware is equally top-tier, featuring chrome hardware, G2-TS bridge, and Hipshot locking tuners. It is clearly built for maximum performance, flexibility, and modern professional use.
