Radial SGI Stereo TX/RX Studio Instrument Interface

Description

The SGI Stereo is a two-channel version of our SGI system, and consists of two boxes: the SGI Stereo TX transmitter and the SGI Stereo RX receiver. A high-performance stereo line driver system for guitars, the SGI Stereo takes a pair of unbalanced instrument signals and allows you to drive them up to 100 meters (300ft) over a single standard Cat5 Ethernet cable without noise or signal loss, eliminating the need for XLR cables.

Featuring locking RJ45 etherCON connectors (compatible with Neutrik etherCON locking connectors) on the TX and RX units, the SGI Stereo allows guitar players with stereo rigs to connect to dual amplifiers in remote locations on large stages or in studio amp rooms. The SGI Stereo can also be used with a facility’s existing Ethernet infrastructure.

A line extension of our innovative SGI system, the SGI Stereo offers pristine sound, streamlined connectivity, and increased functionality via a pair of L/R Thru-puts on the RX unit for connection to local amplifiers, and a 180° Polarity reverse switch on the RX.

  • Locking RJ45 etherCON input: receives balanced signals from SGI-TX unit using one standard Cat5 Ethernet cable.

Output

  • Locking RJ45 etherCON output: sends balanced signals to the SGI-RX using one standard Cat5 Ethernet cable up to 300ft.

  • L/R Guitar Thruputs: hi-Z standard 1⁄4" jacks for guitar, bass, and keys for feeding unbalanced signals to local amplifiers or a direct box.

  • L/R Guitar Outputs: 1⁄4" outputs connect to amps or pedals.

  • L/R Ground Lifts: reduces ground loop hum by disconnecting the audio ground path on the RJ45 jack.

  • 180° Polarity reverse switch for Left Output: corrects signal cancellation for amplifiers wired out of phase.
