PRS Custom 24 10-Top Birds Brazilian Rosewood Gold Hardware 1990 - Royal Blue
Description
Here we have an awesome PRS Custom 24 10-Top from 1990! This one features a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, bird inlays and gold hardware.
Other specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, 24 frets, PRS tremolo bridge and PRS locking tuners. It has a 10” radius, 25” scale length, and 1 11/16” nut width. It has the old school rotary knob and sweet switch, along with the standard set of PRS Treble & Bass humbuckers.
This one has been played heavily and shows quite a bit of honest wear. There are buckle marks on the back, a number of dings across the instrument, and light wear on the metal parts. The back of the neck has been lightly steel wooled to de-gloss it, and there’s a section where the finish is entirely worn away on the bass side up near the neck joint. The guitar has not been broken though, and it remains in original condition except for a replacement truss rod cover. The frets are in great shape with with just a hint of wear down low.
It weighs 8lbs 5oz. The neck measures .760 to .850 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has the regular PRS carve which is a medium oval C profile that has a modern feel. The guitar is a nice player with very good resonance and sustain. It’s easy to bend on, and has a woody mid-range acoustically with a glassy top end. We love the 10-top/birds/gold hardware variant, something we don’t see often. Plus, the honest wear is just really neat in the era of literally everything being factory aged.
Ships in the original hardshell case which has some stickers on the exterior. It includes the tremolo cavity cover, original broken truss rod cover, tremolo arm, warranty card, and an unused set of old PRS strings.
