Fender D'Aquisto Elite Made In Japan Archtop 1985 - Black
Description
Here we have a 1985 Fender D’Aquisto Elite archtop guitar! This one is in very good condition overall
Specs include a spruce top, maple body, maple neck, ebony board, ebony bridge, and ebony tailpiece. It has a 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, block inlays, a rosewood guard, and rosewood knobs. It has a single neck humbucker that is mounted to the body.
This guitar has been played, but well maintained. There is a long lacquer check on the top that runs parallel to the top brace underneath. There are some light surface scuffs and patina across the instrument too, but no notable dents or damage. Light play wear is noticeable when inspected closely. The frets show a subtle hint of wear down low.
It weighs 6lbs 7oz. The neck measures .810 to .880 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has a thinner oval C neck carve that is fairly consistent in depth and shape up until the neck heel transition. The guitar produces an excellent electric archtop tone. It has good acoustic resonance with a touch of natural reverb, and the sound translates nicely through the pickup. It’s a neat model and a cool collab from two iconic yet disparate builders.
Includes a TKL hardshell case.
