Description
Although the name might not ring a bell, this Hill Audio console is truly an excellent candidate for an up and coming studio looking to get a great piece of analog gear for the heart of their operations. The routing on this console is quite well thought out, and the unbalanced outputs are the icing on the cake for anyone looking to use this with a patch bay. The preamps are lively with plenty of headroom, and the 4 band EQ gives this console a very stylized sound signature almost reminiscent of some old Motown records. Although we have had our head technician test it thoroughly, expecting perfection with a console of this age without a full restoration is unfortunately a little bit of a pipe dream.
