1968 Rickenbacker Banjoline – MapleGlo

Description

Check out this super cool and clean 1968 Rickenbacker Banjoline in MapleGlo! The concept for the Banjoline is credited to Eddie Peabody, a very popular Vaudeville player throughout his career from the 1920s to his death in 1970. While not quite a banjo or mandolin, the Banjoline features a total of six strings: four main strings (typically tuned to CGBD), with the two top strings doubled. This particular instrument is in excellent condition with almost no wear. It features all of its original components, including two toaster-style pickups and an Accent Vibrola. The checkerboard binding throughout the instrument is just the cherry on top of these unique specs.
