1980s Kawai K-3M Rackmount Synthesizer Module

Description

The Kawai K3m is a 6-voice hybrid, rack-mount synthesizer released in 1986, combining 32 digital waveforms (including sampling-based waves and user-defined additive synthesis) with warm, analog SSM2044 low-pass filters. It is a rackmount version of the K3 keyboard, favored for its gritty, "PPG-style" icy pads, bells, and bass sounds. Includes Kawai RC-2 Memory Cartridge as shown. Tested in fantastic working condition overall, just minor rack wear from years of use.
