Fender Custom Shop 2008 1960 Stratocaster Relic
This is a "1960 Stratocaster Relic" model with a burgundy mist metallic finish and a slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard.
It has a relic finish that recreates the natural flaws that occur with use, but no weather checks have been applied.
There are several areas on the inside, side and back of the first string horn (near the endpin) show where small paint flakes have either been worn down or been deliberately peeled off. The pickguard is also stained and scratched.
The neck has a slim C-shape similar to the ’60 model and the fingerboard has a 9.5R radius with medium jumbo-type frets.
The pickups are original Custom '60s single coils.
The frets are slightly dented mainly in the low positions of the plain strings, but there is still about 70–80% remaining overall, and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
