1920 Gibson L-4 – Dark Mahogany/Sunburst
Description
This 1920 Gibson L-4 is the oldest Gibson we currently have in stock, and it feels incredible to play a guitar with this much history. This instrument features a Sunburst top and a “Dark Mahogany” finish on the back and sides. Guitars of this age certainly require some maintenance, and this L-4 is no different. This guitar has had a neck reset, and there are some finish touch-ups and overspray from this repair. It has also received a refret and has a changed tailpiece. All other components of this guitar are original, though this original pickguard is missing its bracket. Complete with a hefty soft-V profile and beautiful tone and resonance, this guitar is ready for its new home and comes with its original hardshell case.
