Description

Check out this 1961 Epiphone Sheraton in a rare Natural finish! Some features of this guitar include a Frequensator tailpiece, block “V” fretboard markers, and this beautiful “Tree of Life” pearl headstock inlay. The body is framed by five layers of binding on the front and three on the back, just like an ES-355. Instead of full-sized pickups, this guitar sports two mini humbuckers that still provide a ripping, warm tone. The great G.E. Smith formerly owned this guitar, and included with this guitar is a letter written by the man himself! It details when he purchased it and states that this guitar was played at his gigs with the likes of “Bob Dylan to Diana Ross.” A professional bone nut and new frets were installed at some point, and the action and playability have never been better!
