1967 Fender Coronado II Ice Blue Metallic

Description

No sales tax for customers outside California.

Offered here is a 1967 Fender Coronado II finished in the incredibly rare Ice Blue Metallic custom color, making it one of the most collectible Coronado models ever produced.

Designed by Roger Rossmeisl, the Coronado series was Fender’s answer to the growing popularity of semi-hollowbody guitars in the mid-1960s, blending striking looks with versatile tones.

This Coronado II features dual DeArmond pickups, independent volume and tone controls, and Fender’s signature bolt-on maple neck construction.

The Ice Blue Metallic finish—an extremely rare factory custom color—elevates this guitar to an elite level of collectibility, sought after by Fender enthusiasts and vintage guitar collectors worldwide.

The frets show light wear.  The neck is straight and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.  There are no changes, repairs or issues.  The missing tremolo arm is the only real drawback
Professionally inspected, set up, and fully documented by Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, this Coronado II is both a stunning display piece and a highly playable vintage instrument. Rare finishes like this don’t come to market often, making it a standout opportunity for serious Fender collectors.

These guitars sounds great and are very unique in the Fender lineup.  They don't play impeccably, but they are a cool and iconic Fender design.
