1948 Gibson J-45 Dark burst

Description

#9758 Ugly facial scars, a Very beat-up looking ancient piece that still persists to sound amassing. One that I have always keep in my bedroom, with 3 repaired vertical cracks on the top but it still sounds deep and resonant. A smaller neck (1 7/8 deep) than the other 40’s baseball necks, a very pronounced surface cut that travels down the the backs of center seam but I can’t figure out why because it doesn’t seem to go all the way thru. Deep bass resonant and a very splendid player. If you are into ancient road warriors this could be your ticket. I love the scars all over this special guitar that make it a controversial and exciting guitar whenever I bring it to a jam.
