1933 Gibson F-10 black
Description
This is one of the rarest of all Gibson artist model mandolins. Although Gruhn’s guide states that the all black F-10 was introduced in 1934, the same book dates this instrument as late 1933, making it possibly the first one made! The F-10 features maple back and sides and a short, F-4 length, straight mahogany neck, with a rosewood fingerboard and fancy inlays. This F-10 is in excellent original condition with all original hardware. This instrument is part of my personal collection. Comes with signed certificate of provenance and original redline hard case.
