1928 Custom Gibson Soprano Ukelele Set
This unique pair of Gibson soprano ukuleles was undoubtedly custom ordered in the late 1920s and is probably the only such set in existence. One is a “Florentine” model with a pearloid fingerboard depicting scenes of Venice, and a rhinestone encrusted peghead. Its companion seems to be a Style 3 Gibson use with rhinestones in its peghead. Both have mahogany bodies and necks and are in excellent condition. The kicker is the beautifully unique custom double-uke hardshelll case, with green plush lining. A true collectable for the ukulele and/or Gibson enthusiast. Comes with certificate of provenance signed by me.
