Dynacord Amigo 1964 Single Ended Tube Amp w/ Pekalit "Clapton" knobs
Description
No sales tax for US customers outside California.
This 1964 Dynacord Amigo is a compact, highly musical single-ended tube amplifier from the golden era of European amp design. Simple and full of character, the Amigo delivers warm, harmonically rich tones that make it a favorite for recording, practice, and low-volume playing where feel and nuance matter more than sheer volume.
One feature of this amp is the knobs. Made by Pekalit, they are the same knobs on the holy grail Marshall amp made famous by Eric Clapton - the 1964 JTM45. These knobs are worth some pretty serious cash on their own. You could put different knobs on this amp and sell the four Pekalit knobs for $300 to $400 on Reverb.
This example is in excellent condition - it is beautifully clean! It performs exactly as it should. The tubes are original, with Dynacord branding. Everything looks original.
Tonally, this amp excels at touch-sensitive cleans and the vibrato is really cool too. The single-ended circuit produces a natural compression. It is a unique sounding amp, and a light and portable package.
As with all amplifiers at Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, it has been fully inspected, photographed accurately, and evaluated to ensure dependable performance.
We buy, sell, and take trades.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. These cases require the buyer to re-install them on delivery - it is very easy with this amp, and we label them so you know exactly where to put them. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to . Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
