Hardware: The pickguard has been removed. The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced with a bone nut. All other hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Epiphone guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, scuffs, and small dings throughout. The top has a large patch of finish worn off around the playing area. The back of the body shows a plugged hole near the neck joint from the neck reset, and the 14th fret also shows a plug. The back of the neck shows extensive play wear through the finish. The binding shows some small gaps where it has shrunk through the years. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.

Modifications/Repairs: The finish has been touched up around the neck heel. The pickguard has been removed. The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced with a bone nut. The neck has been reset and a hole in the back of the body and a hole on the 14th fret have been plugged.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with minimal play wear. The serial number dates to 1946.
