~1967 Danelectro Coral Vincent Bell HAWK BASS Black w/ Original Soft Case
Description
Here's a super rare original circa 1967 Coral Danelectro Vincent Bell HAWK Bass.
Not only is this bass clean and original, but the neck is nice and straight and it plays AMAZING. After all these years it's playing with a perfect action and no buzz or issues.
Original lipstick pickups have a classic vintage, organic and warm tone.
All electronics work great without issue.
Coral instruments, including the Hawk, were introduced at the June 1967 NAMM show as a higher-priced line to the budget-focused Danelectro/Silvertone brands.
The Hawk was part of the "sculptured body" designs introduced in 1967, which featured a solid poplar body, often with a "bow tie" or "slimline" body shape.
Comes with original chipboard case, which is very beat up.
