1965 Fender Telecaster "Last Spaghetti Head Logo"
Description
This 1965 Telecaster is the final year model to feature the spaghetti Fender logo decal, a design carried over from the “Broadcaster” era models released in 1950.
From the latter half of 1959 through the early 1960s,
several new models were introduced while production of existing models was scaled back. Consequently, Telecaster production plummeted dramatically from around 1960 until 1965.
Following the CBS acquisition, new capital investment spurred factory expansion. From the mid-1960s onward, overall production volumes increased for all models.
Telecasters with spaghetti logos and rosewood fingerboards from the latter half of 1959 are rare finds in the vintage market.
This Telecaster boasts a rich mid-low frequency response inherited from the pre-CBS era, delivering a versatile tone suitable for any genre.
While some minor wear is visible as expected for vintage gear, it maintains excellent overall condition considering its age.
Frets are replaced.
