Fender Custom Shop 2009 1960 Stratocaster Relic
This is a '60 Stratocaster Relic model with white finish and a slab- laminated rosewood fingerboard.
Relic processing has been used to reproduce the clear weather checks, peeling paint, yellowed plastic parts, tarnished metal parts and texture of the back of the neck, making it look as if it has been used for many years.
The neck shape is a narrow C-shape as was typical of the 1960 model, and the dark shade rosewood fingerboard has a 7.25 radius with vintage-type frets.
There is some discoloration throughout the body and the back panel has been replaced.
The frets are not dented and remain at around 70%, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
