Gibson USA 2015 Flying V Japan Limited
This is a limited-edition “Flying V” model, produced exclusively for the Japanese market.
After being out of the regular production line for several years, this Flying V model was produced in limited quantities, featuring a 1970s style with a round headstock and Grover tuners.
The thin, slim neck with a volute has a 43mm nut width.
The pickups are a 57Classic for the neck position and a 57Classic Plus for the bridge position.
There is overall discoloration, weather checking in several areas, as well as a few dents with paint chips around the tip of the “V” on the 6th string side and a dent with paint chip on the tip of the headstock. There are also some tiny dents and scratches across the entire body, and a shallow buckle mark on the body back.
The frets show some light indentations, mainly around the plain strings, with about 80% remaining. The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
