1934 D’Angelico Exel Sunburst

A rare early example of the master’s Exel. Model, this has the early spelling and the earlier body size and shape. 3” depth and 16 5/8”,width.slim neck profile. Lovely engraved fret markers and pearl button tuners.The guitar shows old overspray on the back and neck. The top appears original. There are two repaired hairline top cracks. The original frets are quite low. The tone is unique to these early D’As, very rich and bell like. A fine instrument.
