1953 Fender Pro amp Tweed
Description
Looking for a ’50s tweed Fender with serious pedigree at a great price?
This 1953 Fender Pro (5B5 circuit) chassis hails from the renowned Kurt Linhof collection and has been lovingly restored and tastefully modified by master amp builder Obeid Khan. The Triad transformers are original. Kurt recapped electrolytics, changed pots, coupling caps in the 80's. Obeid tidied up some loose ends and kept the circuit original.
Now housed in a brand-new Mojotone kit cabinet and loaded with ’70s-era CTS? square magnet 12" speakers, instead of the original 15" it would have had. This Pro delivers everything you’d want from a wide-panel tweed—big, warm cleans, rich harmonic overdrive, and that unmistakable early Fender sag and bloom.
Vintage soul, expert craftsmanship, and killer tone—all without the 50's tweed price tag.
This amp sounds amazing and is an as-is bargain!
