1964 Fender Bassman Blonde

Description

The Fender Bassman is an iconic amplifier with a rich history, and this 1964 6G6 "Piggyback" model is a particularly desirable example. Its classic blonde Tolex covering, brown "coffee" grille cloth, and white knobs create a timeless aesthetic that has been emulated by countless amp manufacturers over the years.

This particular Bassman is in remarkable condition for its age, appearing nearly mint. It features the original transformers, a 110V US plug with a grounded three-prong lead, and the electronics are in excellent shape, with only a couple of resistors having been replaced over the years. The amp sits atop a matching speaker cabinet, both with slant legs for optimal sound projection.

32" cabinet. Updated US 110V earthed plug.
