Now available on consignment, a 1997 Paul Reed Smith Santana I in its Dark Cherry sunburst finish.
This example is among the first version of Santana models produced from 1995-1998, featuring many of the earlier specifications including:
Body: Solid Mahogany (Pre-’85 body shape)
Top: Book Matched Flame Maple
Neck: 1-Piece Mahogany
Fingerboard: Rosewood, 24 Frets
Inlays: Abalone Birds
Headstock: Symmetrical Pre-’85 shape
Pickups: 2x Original PRS Santana Humbuckers
Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone, 2x Mini Toggle Switches
Hardware: Nickel
Tuners: Original PRS/Schaller Locking Tuners
Bridge: PRS Factory Tremolo
The guitar is in fantastic condition with no obvious play wear to note other than a few light scuffs on the back of the body. A rare opportunity to get an early PRS Santana model!
