1948 Martin 00-28G

An early example of this nylon string model, which was made from 1936 to 1962, in excellent condition. The woods are spruce and top grade Brazilian rosewood with a full classical size 2" nut width and flat fingerboard. The body shape is their standard 14-fret 00 shape but the neck is 12 frets. The scale is their long scale, 25 ⅜"; the combination of these dimensions puts the bridge much lower into the center of the lower bout which has much to do with its rich bass tones. The top is fan braced.
