~1960 Harmony H165 solid mahogany 000 w/hsc
Description
1960s Harmony H165...all solid mahogany back, sides and top, solid maple neck, rosewood fret board and bridge, ladder pattern top bracing. The guitar has nicks and dings in the finish but no damage to the wood anywhere. There is one very small (1") repaired top crack on the upper bout of the bass side but no other cracks. The bridge is a replacement as are the pins, everything else is original. The neck has been reset recently, the action is set medium/low with plenty of saddle left for adjustment. The neck has a substantial/full "C" profile and 1 3/4" nut width. Bass response is good but the guitar is best in the mid-range and treble, which is typical of ladder braced instruments. Comes with a newer hard shell case with some of the tolex cover coming loose, but all the latches, hinges and handle intact and functional, and the case is structurally very solid. Ships to US addresses only, no international shipping offered. NYS buyers add 8% sales tax.
