2010's DAVE JOHNSON "59 Burst Replica"
Description
Based in Seattle, Washington, Dave Johnson Restorations is known for restoring vintage guitars and modifying Historic Collection Les Pauls and other models.
This guitar is a reproduction of a 1959 Burst Les Paul, featuring a Honduran mahogany body paired with a hard maple top. It is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer, and the surface accurately replicates the signs of wear, such as scratches, as well as the weather checking mentioned above.
The fingerboard is made of black, fine-grained Brazilian rosewood, reminiscent of vintage guitars from that era.
It is equipped with hand-wound PAF replica pickups manufactured by Sheptone.
Other components include DMC parts and authentic replica aged parts.
It comes with a Dave Johnson Restorations hang tag bearing the serial number and a Lifton-style aged
brown case.
