Description

Now available on consignment, a 1986 Gibson ES-335 Studio in its original black finish.

This is a great example of a late 80s Gibson ES335 Studio, it includes a few upgrades with the original parts included. Currently installed is a set of of hand wound 'PAF' style humbuckers by Dave Leddin, both original 'Tim Shaw' patent number pickups are included. Other changes include a nicely done professional re-fret, and a set of Faber hardware (bridge, tailpiece, and studs) to bring it closer to traditional specs. The original bridge and studs are included as well.

This particular example has some play wear, however remains in good condition overall with some dings and light finish checking over the whole guitar. There is a small chip on the bass side of the headstock wing which has been glued, otherwise the guitar has no other repairs. Its been setup with 10-46 strings and plays great thanks to the re-fret and other upgrades.

A great playing ES335 that has been setup to play, includes a modern hardcase.
