Controls
When holding the bass in the playing position, the Hexa Mid System switch is located on the control cavity cover on the back of the bass. Moving the switch to the up position activates the "H" or high bank, while the down position selects the "L" or low bank. The mini switch on the front of the body is a 3-way mid frequency selector. When the Hexa Mid System is set to the H bank, the mid boost peak is at 350Hz in the neck position, 600Hz in the center position, and 1kHz in the bridge position. In the L bank, the mid boost peak is at 250Hz in the neck position, 450Hz in the center position, and 850Hz in the bridge position. Along the lower edge of the body, there are six knobs. Directionally, the first three from the neck towards the lower bout they are; volume, blend and master tone with push/pull EQ bypass switch. When the master tone knob is pulled up, the EQ bypass is activated. The remaining three smaller knobs near the edge of the body, from the neck towards the lower bout are the treble boost/cut, mid boost/cut, bass boost/cut.

Switching System
The bass boost/cut frequency curve peaks at 50 Hz, with a variable width that narrows toward higher frequencies, reaching zero around 1000 Hz. The peak frequency's range is approximately ±18 dB. The treble boost/cut frequency curve forms a mountain-shaped peak around 10,000 Hz, with a variable range that becomes zero around 300 Hz. The peak frequency's range is approximately ±18 dB. The Hexa Mid System switch is located on the back of the bass, in the middle of the control cavity cover. In the up position (towards the center of the body), it is set to "H," and in the down position (towards the edge of the body), it is set to "L." When the Hexa Mid System is set to "H," the mid-boost/cut frequency curve creates a mountain-shaped peak at a specific frequency. The variable range is zero near 20 Hz and around 10,000 Hz. The peak frequency can be switched to 1000, 600, or 350 Hz, with a variable range of approximately ±13 dB. When the Hexa Mid System is set to "L," the mid-boost/cut frequency curve creates a similar mountain-shaped peak, but the variable range is zero near 20 Hz and around 10,000 Hz. The peak frequency can be switched to 850, 450, or 250 Hz, with a variable range of approximately ±13 dB.
