1988 Ibanez DT-500CS X-Series Sunburst

This listing is for a cool 1980's Ibanez X-Series DT-500CS Destroyer Electric Guitar. This guitar was made in Japan in 1983 at the Fuji-Gen factory. The guitar has been played hard and is in rough shape but is still a killer guitar and that plays and sounds great. As you can see, this one shows some seriously heavy cosmetic wear so if you are looking for a clean one of these keep looking! This one has major cosmetic wear and some discoloration on the finish especially around the lower bout of the body. We tried to show some of the most severe wear but we're limited in the number of pictures we can post. The guitar has been professionally set up and is playing really well. The bridge pickup is an older 80's Seymour Duncan JB Double Cream-White pickup that sounds incredible and the neck pickup is the original Super 58 Humbucker. The guitar was original a non Kahler model and someone installed the Kahler at a later date and put a riser-block under the Kahler. The knobs and Kahler vibrato arm is not original. The guitar weighs just a hair under 10 LBS and comes as pictured with the original case pictured which is in rough but functional condition. Please check out the pictures and message with questions.
