About the Pickups (from Seymour Duncan):
The Seth Lover Humbuckers are hand-built replicas of the original PAFs designed by Seth himself. These pickups strike a perfect balance of warmth and articulation:
- Alnico 2 bar magnets for sweet highs
- Unpotted for open, percussive tone
- Wound on the original Leesona machine from the early Gibson factory — the same factory and address as this very Heritage guitar
Chords sound full and rich, while single notes remain soft and expressive with piano-like clarity.
Why This Guitar Stands Out:
- A true boutique-quality jazz box made by luthiers in Kalamazoo, Michigan
- Carved woods throughout – not pressed or laminated
- Heritage’s legendary craftsmanship at a time when most archtops are laminated or CNC cut
- Incredible tone, responsiveness, and vintage feel
