Description

Here we have a cool 8-string bass from Hagstrom, the HB-8. This one is in very good condition overall.

Specs include a mahogany body, maple neck, resinator fingerboard, 22 frets, medium jumbo fret wire, heavy duty 8-string bridge, and 17:1 die cast tuners. It’s loaded with a set of Dyna Rail pickups and has one volume, one tone, and a 6-way rotary switch.

This bass is in very good condition with some notable player wear on the pickguard. There are some other light marks and faint topical scratches, but the bass is void of dents and damage.

It weighs in at 9lbs 13oz. The neck neck measures .800 to .850 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has an oval C neck profile with a satin finish. It’s a really interesting build, obviously with 8 strings, but also a short scale with a narrow nut width that somehow works perfectly. It has just the right tension and feel, plus it produces a really symphonic sound.

Returns

All items can be returned within 7 days of receipt. When you shop at Tone Wolf, you'll have one week from the date of delivery to decide if the gear is right for you. Please contact us prior to shipping your item back for return authorization and instructions.
