For Sale: Left Handed 2006 Gretsch Roundup, Near Mint, 100% Original with OHSC!
The G6130 Roundup in Western Maple Stain has not been available in lefty as a standard catalog offering. The standard Gretsch lineup today has no Roundup in righty or lefty, so any such model must be requested from the custom shop. This is basically a reissue of the classic Roundup model which was produced from 1954-56. The guitar is in Near Mint Condition other than a few nicks on the back of the headstock (see pics).
Six left handed Roundup guitars were made at the Japan factory in 2006. One was delivered to Ted Sablay, who has recorded and performed live with national recording artist, The Killers. Lending credence to this assertion is the fact that the serial number of this guitar is JT***317, and three other serial numbers have so far been verified, 318, 320, and 322. All identical except for the suffix and all part of sequential batch.
Here is a promotional video which Ted Sablay did for Gretsch, and in part of the video he is playing his Roundup (2nd guitar shown). He also talks about his work with the Killers. Ted plays multiple guitars throughout the video, and the Roundup is the 2nd one and appears at the 25 second mark. He talks about working with the Killers at about the 1:35 mark.

The guitar comes with the Cowboy style hard case and a copy of the 2006 Gretsch product catalog. The guitar is decked out with the entire western motif, including the leather body trim, the stylized fingerboard markers, the "G" brand. It also comes with a factory Bigsby tailpiece. Classic Gretsch orange finish and all gold hardware.
It would be extremely rare to find another lefty like this, or you could try your luck with the Gretch Custom Shop and probably pay around $10K and wait over a year, and that is if they would even accept such an order.
