2007 Gibson TOM MURPHY AGED 1959 Les Paul Standard Custom Shop 59 R9

Here is an amazing older TOM MURPHY Aged Gibson '59 Les Paul from 2007. Unlike the Murphy Lab, this one was actually aged by the man himself, Tom Murphy! This guitar has a nice believable vintage top. Some angles are pretty minor flame and then others are pretty strong, like the originals often were! This one has what we'd call an Iced Tea or Sunrise Tea Burst finish.

Very nice guitar that plays exceptionally well and sounds excellent. It looks to have had different tuners at one point (originals back on). Also, while the pickups and electronics look factory, they were put back to the original types back in the early 2010's based on pot codes.

The guitar appears to be in excellent aged condition. There is plenty of wear that was simulated by Tom Murphy and based on some light to moderate fret wear the guitar was without a doubt played by its previous owner. It's no wonder because it's a great guitar! Comes with the original hard case, COA, and all the paperwork as shown.
