2023 Gibson SJ-200 Original Vintage Sunburst

This 2023 Gibson SJ-200 is in excellent condition. The only wear that we can find on this instrument is some light fading on one of the painted on flowers on the pickguard and some very faint and tiny scratches on the peghead face from string changes. Otherwise, this beautiful SJ-200 is near mint and super vibrant. This guitar has a wonderful feeling medium chunky “C” shaped neck profile with nice rounded shoulders that is exceptionally comfortable and super easy to play. The two piece flamed maple neck is stunning, especially paired with the dark, nicely figured rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl block and crown inlays. The fret wire on this Gibson is immaculate and shows no wear. The top is dead flat, the bridge is flat to the body, the bridge saddle is factory height, the truss rod is in perfect working order and the neck angle is excellent. This guitar has been set up and it plays like a dream up and down the fingerboard with low comfortable action and excellent intonation. This SJ-200 sounds absolutely fantastic. This guitar has the quintessential dry thumpy Gibson tone that these guitars are known for with nice crisp mid-range articulation, smooth high end and plenty of volume. This is a perfect songwriting companion and would be a killer flat top for recording. The pickup in this guitar is in perfect working order, sounds fantastic and makes this instrument ideal for live performance. This is an extremely fine sounding and playing example of a true Gibson icon built with top notch American craftsmanship and absolutely stunning looks and appointments.
