1980 Gibson SG Standard White
Description
Here's a 1980 Gibson SG Standard in White finish. 100% original example. No breaks, cracks, repairs. This is a GREAT SG from top to bottom. It also has 70s appointments before the model would change again. Serial number, pots, and pickup dates are all 1980. The guitar features 3-piece solid mahogany construction, 1-11/16" nut width, volute, Tune-0-Matic bridge, with a bound rosewood fingerboard with Pearl block inlays and corresponding side dots. Overall the guitar is really nice shape! There's a little finish wear near the bass side horn (on the top). But the white finish has aged into a super cool and vibey yellowish look. Playability is exceptional, with buttery low action. Medium profile neck. Frets have life left as well. Both original Tarback Humbuckers are punchy, clear, and very articulate. Sounds fantastic! Really cool guitar here. OHSC!
