1962 Gibson SG Special – Cherry
Description
If you’re looking for a staple piece that’s a great player, this 1962 Gibson SG Special in Cherry may be the one for you! This one has late ’61 pots, making it an early ’62, putting it right in that Les Paul/SG transitional range. The Special was actually the first model to drop the “Les Paul” name, so by this point, there is no logo present on the headstock. This example is exceptionally light and very resonant. It remains all original and in good condition, checking all the boxes for an early SG Special!
